Welcome!
My name is Greer Gage and I am a full-time professional ballet dancer formerly in Nashville Ballet's second company. I am a recent graduate of Belmont University with my Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Creative Entertainment Industries with a minor in Music Business. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.95.

About Me
Originally from North Carolina, I grew up dancing and training at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts under the direction of Ethan Stiefel and Susan Jaffe. Attending their preparatory division program at age eight, through graduating their high school program as Student Body President at seventeen, UNCSA started my career. I immediately moved to Nashville joining Nashville Ballet's, what was formerly known as, Professional Training Division. In four seasons I was promoted to trainee and most recently promoted to a NB2 artist.
After graduating high school my passion to learn led me to apply to Belmont University where I was accepted and awarded a merit scholarship. Four and a half years later I graduated in December 2023 with my B.S. in arts business and music business. While at Belmont University I was able to present and connect with companies such as Sony, local Nashville Publishing Companies, Walt Disney Company and more.
Since dancing 9-6 and taking 5 courses every semester is not enough for an overachiever, I am also a Crew Member at Trader Joe's four days a week and am a care-giver for three children two evenings a week. Working in the customer-service industry and helping develop a (initially) newborn, two-year-old and four-year-old over the past five years has helped teach me patience, kindness, and responsibility, traits I always carry close throughout my life. Some of my biggest values I carry with me, which are visible through my resume, are education and intelligence, power and achievement, and fulfillment. These values have led me down the path I am on today and steered me continuously in a strong direction.
I have recently relocated to Chicago, Illinois, where I am embracing a new chapter as a freelance dancer. Immersing myself in the city's vibrant ballet and contemporary dance scene has been both inspiring and invigorating. Surrounded by new artists, fresh perspectives, and endless creative energy, I feel reignited in my passion for dance. While I continue to explore and create in this thriving community, I am also looking forward to the possibility of joining a Chicago-based dance company full time, deepening my artistic roots in this exciting city.
